About Us
About Marcella
Marcella is an multi- international award winning chocolatier, originally from a small fishing town, Fleetwood, in Lancashire, who is proud to be part of the new, upcoming and inspirational chocolatiers who are building upon the exceptional British Chocolate scene. Marcella's passion for her craft and creativity is built upon her training with Master Chocolatier Paul. A. Young and her degrees in Psychology BSc, International Business & Management MSc, a further postgraduate degree in Aroma Trades and her experiences while travelling through Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Marcella's first shop opened in October 2023 in the quaint market town, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire after a visit to the town where she fell in love with the local community and the amazing produce found within Yorkshire. Marcella's desire to showcase local produce is at the forefront of all her product development with all filled chocolates using fresh cream from our local organic dairies in order to support our local, hardworking farmers.
Marcella manufacturers her products within her Castlegate store kitchen which is on show to all visitors, which allows you to see the delicate process of manufacturing artisanal international award winning chocolates.

All our truffles are not pre-packaged and available in box sizes 6,12, 18 & 24. We ask all our customer to select which chocolates they would like which are then packaged in-store.

All of our products are made in our Castlegate store kitchen. As such, we cannot cater for any nut allergies.
All products' may contain trace amount of nuts, dairy, soya, egg, sulphites and gluten. Raw ingredients from our suppliers may also contain traces of peanuts and sesame seeds.
